Combine three of Canada’s funniest female comics – Debra DiGiovanni, Laurie Elliott and Kristeen Von Hagen – for one hot night of laughs and you’ll have a mother of a Girls Night Out!
If you can do without laughs, sugar, spice and everything nice – like a great evening in comfortable clothes – then stay away. But, say you do get a kick out of comics who are good at what they do – make you laugh out loud – and happen to smell good, THIS is for you.
Debra DiGiovanni: Seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and MuchMusic’s Video on Trial, the winner of Best Female Standup at this year’s Canadian Comedy Awards has also been called ‘the Best Stand Up to see after a Messy Break Up.’ She likes guys with beards.
Laurie Elliott: Two-time winner of Best Female Stand- up at the Canadian Comedy Awards, Gemini Nominee and star of her own comedy special, CTV’s Comedy Now!, she remains scared of the Kiss Army even after all these years.
Kristeen von Hagen: Featured at Montreal’s Just For Laughs and on The Comedy Networks Comedy Now!, she co-wrote/co-starred in the award-winning play, Dickwhipped. Voted one of the Top 30 Power Women in Canada by Elle Magazine, she could die if she’s stung by a wasp.
