The Chamber at Ben Franklin Place
The Chamber in Ben Franklin Place (at 101 Centrepointe Drive), is a popular space for large meetings, presentations and smaller-scale performances. Previously serving as the council chamber for the former Municipality of Nepean, The Chamber contains 246 fixed raked seats in a fan shaped auditorium, and offers versatility in its 1160 ft2 performance area. It is equipped with basic technical amenities, including a LCD projection system, DVD player and projection screen. New additions, of lighting positions and theatrical masking drapes, are scheduled for installation in the 2006-07 season.
Well suited to intimate theatrical productions, The Chamber in Ben Franklin Place is now home to several community performing arts groups including GOYA Productions, Suzart Productions and Phoenix Players.
